Recreational Equipment Inc. is a Seattle, Washington based retail and outdoor recreation services corporation. REI is best known for their quality outdoor equipment, gear, and clothing. Beginning in 1935, the two founders, Llyod & Mary Anderson, were adventure enthusiasts looking to get quality ice axes at lower prices. As the company grew and evolved over the many decades, there are over 180 REI stores across the United States and the District of Columbia. Fred Olivieri Construction Company is proud to be one of the general contractors selected to work with this valued client. As of 2022, we have completed construction on 97 REI sporting goods stores across the United States. Having worked on 50% of all existing REIs across the country, our company is more than experienced in everything from large-scale ground-up builds, remodels, and tenant improvement projects.
