Bender's Tavern

If you are ever in downtown Canton, Ohio, Bender’s Tavern is the “must go to” local restaurant that has been in business since 1902. Whether it’s a casual lunch with work colleagues, a romantic dinner, or celebrating with loved ones, Bender’s Tavern offers an elegant atmosphere with top notch service that enables customers to sit back and relax. Priceless marble, paneled oak walls, stain glass and a tin ceiling hold many memories of those who have eaten there before us over the course of the past 121 years. For four generations, Bender’s Tavern has been owned and operated by the Jacob’s family. In January of 1988, Fred Olivieri Construction was called upon to help Bender’s Tavern restore itself after a tragic fire set the restaurant ablaze. Fortunately, much of the old building was able to remain intact and the restaurant construction restoration allowed this historic building to continue its tradition of serving the finest food and wine. We are proud to have worked on various restaurant construction projects for Bender’s Tavern over the course of many years.
