The JRC Center at Myers Lake formerly operated out of the Former Myers Lake Ball Room in Canton, OH. The center was looking to expand their services to the adult community, construct a central kitchen for their food service program and expand their services to include early education and care for preschool children. The commercial construction contractor project scope included additions on three sides of the building - a new commercial kitchen and interior renovations, all while keeping the facility in operation during construction. The project covered over 32,000 square feet of interior renovations, including 10,000 square feet of new additions. The addition provided eight new classrooms, physical activity center, corporate office space, ADA enhancements to the existing facility, a new drop off canopy, and commercial kitchen that can serve 72,000 meals a year to the community at need.
