Fred Olivieri Construction recently wrapped up a project at Westfield Country Club - one that marked an exciting new chapter for both their team and ours. In 2024, Westfield approached us with a Master Plan focused on elevating the member experience and investing in the long‑term future of the community. The plan called for several new facilities, including a clubhouse, pool house, and sports courts, along with major upgrades to the cart barn and parking areas. Being selected as the construction manager for such a transformative project was an honor, and we were thrilled to bring their vision to life.
Westfield’s roots are deeply tied to agriculture, and that history played a meaningful role in shaping the new design. The architecture draws inspiration from the farms that once occupied the land where the golf course now sits, blending those familiar elements with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The result is a warm, welcoming environment that feels connected to its past while embracing the future.
The project began with the demolition of the existing campus including the main clubhouse, outdoor event space, pool, pool house, and parking lots. After several weeks of demo, construction on the new facilities began.
The new two‑story, 36,000‑square‑foot clubhouse includes a banquet hall for 150 guests, a private dining room for 30, a grill room and bar for 70, and an outdoor patio with seating for 80, complete with fireplaces and views overlooking the golf course. Inside, members will also find two golf simulator rooms, a full‑service à la carte and banquet kitchen, indoor cart storage, a pro‑shop retail center, golf operations office, food and beverage office, multipurpose conference rooms, and men’s and women’s locker rooms.
The new pool house features men’s and women’s locker rooms, a full‑service kitchen, and office and staff areas. Adjacent to the building is a redesigned pool with sunshades and multiple seating areas. New outdoor tennis and pickleball courts were also added, along with extensive site development improvements.
All construction took place while the golf course remained open.
